thoughts on ritualized magic/interpretation's a choice

The topic came up this week with some clients, and when I awoke, a friend had sent me a reel with an Abrahamic Monotheistic preacher espousing the virtues of the mass blood letting that is occurring around the globe as I type. Coincidence? Perhaps.

When it comes to magic, my belief is that it is technology available to all of us by virtue of being human on this planet. How we choose to utilize that technology is a choice. Engergy is energy is energy. The only difference between Black Magic and White Magic is intention(as a grand, sweeping statement—in other words, in general).

And magic, in my ever humble opinion, is just the ability to utilize our inate technology to its fuller potential. Potential that our current sciences haven’t yet been able to quantify and reproduce. There are rules to operations, and those are the same rules that apply to everything in this particular game.

For instance, when utilizing fire magic, earth magic, water magic, sex magic—or blood magic—the rules of engagement are the same, but intention and method of execution might differ based on those intentions(no pun intended).

It is a beautiful and powerful thing to honor the sacredness of our blood, and to offer it in sacrifice for life to thrive. Some indigenous cultures have both solar and lunar practices to consensually do so in a way that uplifts the heart. Others have chosen to participate in these practices in a way that is non-consensual, and leaves an energetic imprint of long-lasting epigenetic trauma. One way heals in love and reverence. The other way inflicts dominance and pain.

The Hopi have a prophecy that says(I’m paraphrasing): when all the women of the world are giving their moon blood back to the earth, the men will put down their weapons and return home from war.

I feel that. So, can we choose a different way?
